The Foonf is built around REACT (Rigid-LATCH Energy Absorbing Crumple Technology), which actively reduces collision forces using automotive-inspired crumple technology while ensuring a simple, solid, and secure forward-facing installation. A Steel Anti-Rebound Bar enhances rear-facing safety, protects against head impact, enables a snug installation, and provides extra legroom for rear-facing children. The adjustable structural headrest features deep side wings, energy-absorbing foam layers, and a complete metal substructure for advanced side impact protection. The Highlands Ziip meets or exceeds FMVSS213.
Comfort & Convenience
The Foonf offers 2 forward-facing and 2 rear-facing smooth recline options for a comfortable fit in virtually any vehicle. The removable seat cushion provides easy rear-facing belt path access without uninstalling the seat, and built-in lock-offs tension and remove excess belt slack. A No-Twist Harness with buckle stowage simplifies buckling, while 6 harness heights and an adjustable crotch strap accommodate a wide range of sizes. The Ziip Away Cover removes for easy cleaning, and the seat is FAA approved for aircraft use. Clek backs it with a lifetime extended warranty and a 9-year expiration date — and offers recycling through their program. Made in Canada using domestic and imported components.

The Highlands Ziip fabric carries no added chemical flame retardants and is PFOA-free, PFOS-free, PFC-free, and PFAS-free. It is fluorine-free and OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 Certified — one of the most rigorous independent textile safety standards available.
