Return + Exchange Policy

We want you to be happy with your purchase! If you're not fully satisfied, here are our return/exchange guidelines: Not all items may apply.

 

  • Within 14 days of receipt: may be accepted for refund to the original payment method or a gift card. Your refund will be minus any shipping fees and credit card processing fees.
  • After 14 Days but within 30 Days: may be accepted for store credit or an exchange at the full value of the item, minus shipping fees
  • After 30 Days: Returns or exchanges will not be accepted.
  • Return Shipping: You are responsible for the cost of return shipping. Please note that refunds/exchanges will exclude the original shipping charges if the replacement item has an additional shipping fee.
  • Open Box Gear: will incur a 20% open-box fee, as it will need to be sold as an open-box item.
  • Car seats are considered a final sale once they leave our store or are shipped to you (see details below). If you're unsure about your purchase, we recommend selecting Store Pick-up. This way, we can hold your order until you're confident or ready for your free installation.

Why Can’t I Return My Car Seat?

Safety is our top priority. We do not accept returns or exchanges on car seats once they have been purchased, as we want you to feel confident that you’re taking home a brand-new, unused, and safe product. Car seats can be damaged internally in an accident or due to mishandling, and such damage may not be visible on the outside.

We encourage you to check out our floor models, where we provide detailed demonstrations, including checking the fit of the car seat in your vehicle, to ensure the best possible selection.

Once a car seat has been shipped or leaves our store, it cannot be returned or exchanged.

Furniture + Gear

Furniture or large gear purchased from our regularly stocked items can be returned or exchanged under the same conditions mentioned above, unless the item has been opened. 

Please email customercare@poshbaby.com for return authorization before returning any furniture.

Non-Returnable Items

Unfortunately, some items cannot be returned or exchanged:

  • Used Items: Items covered under the manufacturer’s warranty must be handled directly with the manufacturer for any defects.
  • Sale Merchandise: Items purchased on sale are final sale.
  • Shipping, Delivery, and Payment Processing Fees: These are non-refundable.
  • Tavo Pet Items
  • Mattresses, Changing Pads, and Nursing Pillows: For hygiene reasons, these items are final sale.
  • Car Seats: As outlined above.
  • Gift Cards
  • Discontinued Items
  • Special Order Items*
  • Items* not in their original packaging

Gifts & Exchanges

If you received a gift from our store, we are happy to offer an exchange for another item, an in-store gift card, or an online gift certificate once we confirm the item(s) were purchased from us.

Order Changes

Once your order is placed, changes can be made within 24 hours. To request a change, please contact us via chat or email at customercare@poshbaby.com. Please note, we are closed on Sundays and Wednesdays.

Cancellation Policy

Once your order is placed, your card is charged immediately. Cancellations are accepted only under specific conditions. If eligible, you will receive a refund minus the 6% credit card and processing fees. To request a cancellation, please contact us as soon as possible.

Custom Orders & Made-to-Order Items
Custom orders and made-to-order items are final sale and cannot be canceled.

Regularly Stocked Items
If an item is expected to ship within 5 days or less, it cannot be canceled, as the order may already be processed at the warehouse and prepared for shipping.

Pre-Orders
For pre-ordered items, please reach out to us to confirm if cancellation is possible. If eligible, a 6% card processing fee will be deducted from your refund. No fees will be applied for exchanges or store credit. (Due to the high volume of cancellations, we can no longer absorb the cancellation fees. Thank you for your understanding.)

Tax-Free Shopping & Sales Tax Information

Oregon does not have a state sales tax, so you won’t pay sales tax on your purchase when shipping to an Oregon address, or other cities where we are not required to collect taxes or you are picking up in-store. However, for orders shipped to other states, sales tax will be applied based on the specific tax rates for that city or state. These rates are automatically calculated at checkout, ensuring that the correct tax is applied based on your shipping address.

“In Stock” Products & Availability

When a product is marked as “In Stock” on our website, it can mean a couple of things. It may be available at our Portland store for immediate pickup or ready to ship right away. Alternatively, it could be available at one of our off-site locations and will be shipped directly to you.

Please note that “In Stock” does not always mean the product is physically available at our Portland store for immediate pickup. If you’re unsure about the availability of a specific item in-store, don’t hesitate to call us at 503-478-7674, and we’ll be happy to check on its availability for you.

Backordered Items & Shipping Delays

Occasionally, products we regularly carry may be backordered by the vendor. If an estimated ship date is available, we will note it on the product page. When you place an order for an item with a delayed ship date, you are pre-purchasing the product, and it will be shipped to you as soon as it becomes available again.

Please note that these estimated dates are not guaranteed and are subject to change for reasons beyond our control. If the ship date changes, we will notify you via email as soon as we receive the updated information.

If the new estimated shipping date is pushed out by more than two weeks and no longer works for you, you may exchange the item (custom orders may be excluded). To exchange, please contact us as soon as possible, and we’ll work with you to process and confirm the details.

Can I Order a Product I Don’t See on Your Site?

If you’re looking for a specific product from one of the brands featured on our site, we can likely help you order it! While most items are available for special order, there are a few exceptions, such as products not available in the United States.

Manufacturer's Warranty & Product Support

At Posh Baby, all purchases are backed by the manufacturer’s warranty. We take pride in offering only the highest-quality brands, and our trusted vendors stand behind their products. If you encounter any issues or defects with a car seat, stroller, or piece of furniture purchased from us, the manufacturer is the best point of contact to resolve the matter directly. 

All gear and furniture items come with a manufacturer's warranty that protects against defects in workmanship. Since we do not carry spare or replacement parts for the brands we offer, warranty claims must be handled through the vendor directly, not through our store. 

However, if you need assistance with obtaining proof of purchase or navigating the warranty process, we’re always here to help!

Lost Shipments & Claims Process

If your shipment is lost, a claim must be filed with the shipping company. For a quicker resolution, we recommend that the recipient initiates the claim. Once the claim is completed, please contact us, and we will either issue a refund or reship the item. Refunds or replacements cannot be processed until the claims process is finalized.

Please note that Posh Baby is not responsible for items after they have been delivered, including cases of theft. If you're concerned about this, we offer store pickup as an alternative.

Do you ship outside of the continental US?

At this time, we are not shipping internationally.
