Our home doesn't have a bathtub (yet) and we used a large infant tub for our son as long as we could. At 2 1/2 he could no longer sit in it comfortably. I didn't expect to find an easy solution. My searches led to this Stokke X-Large folding bathtub. Not only does it fold up to store out of sight, but is just what we needed. The high sides make it more secure. There is room for our extremely tall son and lots more bath toys. We use a foam fun noodle piece slit long ways and pressed over one of the short edges to pad the edge so our son can lean his head back over the edge for hair rinsing. We use this tub in a very large walk-in shower so we don't have to worry about getting the floor wet or draining it elsewhere. The folding technology is awesome. I just hope it holds up for many years. At first our son was hesitant to get in, but we had told him about the new tub and set it up dry in the living room so he could investigate and get comfortable with it. I ordered this tub direct from Stokke because I did not want to chance getting a knock-off. We are extremely happy with our purchase!!!

It's okay. It does what it needs to but really feels overpriced. I debated just buying a storage container and cutting a hole for draining myself than paying this almost triple the cost. Now you might be saying why would you do that this is made for bathing? Well yes it is but it's essentially the same material and the only difference is the ability to fold the wich it doesn't even do all that well. It's not like it folds into a small square it just folds semi popped out long ways in half. I bought it recommended by my wife and after owning it for some time we don't even bother folding it half the time because we can't store it anywhere anyway so bare in mind when you buy this what you're getting. The stopper is hard to pull out for good reason but it can be a bit annoying. The concept is good but the price just doesn't justify the means imho.
