The Monte Design Dorma Bed Upholstered Toddler Guard Rails are the purpose-built safety solution for the Dorma Twin or Full Bed — fully upholstered in matching performance velvet, handcrafted in Canada, and designed to keep your little one safely in bed without compromising the room's aesthetic for a single night.

Seamless Safety, Zero Compromise

Tested in our boutique and loved by families nationwide, these rails swap in place of the Dorma's original side rails with no tools required — and swap back out just as easily when your child no longer needs them. At 17.5" tall at their highest point, they provide 7" of protection above an 8" mattress surface and accommodate mattresses up to 9" thick, covering the full range of Monte Design's custom mattress options.

The upholstery is 100% polyester performance velvet, Oeko-Tex® certified and rated to 100,000 rub counts — the same fabric and finish as the Dorma Bed itself, so the rails disappear into the frame rather than standing out as an afterthought. Available in Blush, Moss, and Navy Velvet to match each Dorma colorway. Sustainably handcrafted in Monte Design's Toronto facility.
